CommentsThe first of the Motorbase-built NGTC cars appeared at the Snetterton round in 2012, much to the surprise of the rest of the paddock. The car had been built during the mid-season break after one of the team's S2000 cars had been badly damaged at the previous round at Croft. The team had originally intended to build the car over the winter ready for 2013 but instead decided to bring forward the build.
Driven by Mat Jackson for the remainder of 2012 and all of 2013. The car was then sold to AmD Tuning and driven by Dave Newsham in 2014 and by Mike Bushell in 2015, before being sold to Maximum Motorsport who ran the car for Stewart Lines.
