Comments
One of three cars built by Arena International for the 2009 BTCC, this one being driven by Tom Chilton. For 2010 the car was converted to run on LPG-fuel and again driven by Chilton.

In 2011 all three of the Arena cars were purchased by Motorbase Performance, with this car being driven by Liam Griffin. Griffin would agsin use the car in 2012, although business commitments meant he would miss a number of rounds in the middle of the season.

Sold along with 2009-02 to David Nye, who would race the sister car in the 2013 BTCC whilst keeping this one as a spare.

Eventually bought by Conrad Murray in 2016 and restored back to original 2009 spec.

First race since restoration was at the 2018 David Leslie Super Touring Car Championship Festival at Knockhill.
