Built by Triple Eight and run in the 2001 and 2002 BTCC under the egg:sport banner.

In 2003 the car was sold to Opel Team Sweden, who rebuilt it to S2000-spec and ran in the STCC.

Rustad switched to the sister car V2001-005 for 2004/05, meaning this car would remain unused until 2007 when it was leased to Joakim Frid who used it to win the Caran Cup category of the STCC.
