Driven by Yvan Muller for the majority of the 2005 BTCC. He would start the season in V2005-012 before switching to this car after the first round. For 2006 the car was driven by Fabrizio Giovanardi.

With the works team switching to the S2000 Vectra in 2007, 3 cars (V2005-014, V2005-016 and V2005-017) were sold to Erkut Kizilirmak.

Kizilirmak would race this car in the BTCC in 2007 and again for the early races of 2008, until the car was badly damaged after crashing into a wall at Donington Park. For the remainder of the season Kizilirmak would drive V2005-017

Untouched for many years, the still-damaged car was bought along with V2005-017 in 2013 by Philip Morgan.
