Built by SAAB Dealer Sport, formerly Opel Team Sweden, during 2008. Despite the 'Dealer Sport' name, the team had no official factory backing.

Running with a bio-gas engine, the car made it's public debut at Mantorp Park during the STCC finale with Jens Edman running some demonstration laps. Initial plans were for Edman to drive the car in the 2009 STCC but despite testing throughout the year the team were not able to secure the necessary race budget.

Limited testing continued in 2010, but by the end of the year the team finally threw in the towel with the car yet to turn a wheel in anger.

The project was briefly reserected at the end of 2011 with a suggestion that the team may swap the bio-gas engine for a more conventional 2-litre 'NGTC' turbo unit due to be introduced in 2012, but that plan came to nought.
