Early history is unknown although believed to have been used in the 2003 European Touring Car Championship.

Purchased from SEAT Sport by Adam Jones as a spare for his 2007 British Touring Car Championship campaign, with XTS-014 being his race car. The car had remained unused and in storage since then.
