Driven by Yvan Muller for the opening two rounds of the 2005 BTCC before being converted to a two-seater and used for demos. Muller would switch to V2005-016 for the remainder of the season.

The car continued to be used as the team's demo vehicle until mid-2006 when it was raced by Turkish driver Erkut Kizilirmak for 2 rounds of the BTCC.

Following Kizilirmak's races, the car was converted back to a two-seater.

The car was added to Vauxhall Heritage Collection at Vauxhall Motors in Luton during 2010.

Vehicle kept in open storage from 2015 until sold to Simon Bloomfield in 2017.

Acquired by the Morgan family in 2024.
