Run under the works 'VX Racing' banner for Fabrizio Giovanardi in 2007, 2008 and 2009, winning the championship in 2007 and 2008.

Sold to David Pinkney in 2010 and run in the BTCC with an NGTC-spec turbo engine. Sold to Jeff Smith in 2011 and run under the Eurotech under the 'Pirtek Racing' banner.

The car, still owned by Jeff Smith, has been unused since the end of 2011.

It has been undergoing a slow restoration to race in 2025.

The car was destroyed in the fire at Power Maxed Racing headquarters during the final stages of it's restoration on August 9th 2025.
