Driven by Andy Neate in 2012, by Sam Tordoff in 2013-14, by Andrew Jordan in 2015 and by Josh Cook in 2016.Driven for the first 3 rounds of 2017 by Dan Lloyd before being heavily damaged at Thruxton. During the second race of the day, Lloyd was turned sideways at Church, normally a 120mph corner, and hit the barrier head-on at near unabated speed. The team were able to partially repair the car enough to get on track for the third race, although missed the start and joined a few laps down. With the car still less than perfect, Lloyd managed less than half a lap at much reduced speed before being hit by an unsighted Luke Davenport in his Ford Focus.
Once back at base and with time to fully assess the car, the team soon realised that the chassis had sustained significant damage. The decision was taken to bring out V2012-C-0510-002 as a replacement. Although that car was still not fully repaired after the crash at Snetterton in 2016, it was still the least damaged car.
The chassis was later overhauled and again pressed into service at the end of the 2017 season after V2012-C-0510-003 was written off at Croft.
2018 saw AmD Tuning take on the running of the car. Eventually piloted by for four drivers over the course of the season.
Excelr8 Motorsport has purchased this and its sister MG6 to run in the 2019 season.
